Smiling faces

We planted some sunflowers back in the summertime ~ but it was a little late in the season so I didn’t know if they would bloom.  It is so exciting that they are starting to bloom now!  I love looking out the kitchen window and seeing them!

What a blessing to have these two sweet smiling faces that add a little sunshine to my days!

I hope your weekend is filled with joy!

  1. Good Evening Sharon ~

Such sweet pictures! Thank you for sharing such a nice post!

    Have a blessed weekend!

    Hugs ~

  2. Love the sunflower and the sweet little girl. My sunflowers never seem to grow. Guess I will try another spot next year.

  3. Dear Teri,

Good evening to you too! ♥

I am so excited to have sunflowers blooming! They got a little bit of a late start! There’s not too much color left in the garden these days ~ so these add such a cheery touch!

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

  4. Dear Pam,

This is only our 2nd time planting sunflowers from seed. The first time they did really well but not long after they bloomed ~ something ate the heads completely off! It was so disappointing! We’ve bought a couple plants before and they didn’t do well at all! I just love sunflowers! 🙂

    Have a lovely day!

  5. Two beautiful smiling faces to brighten up your autumn days!

  7. Dear Tina,

Thank you! 🙂 We only have 3 plants this year ~ maybe next year I can find a good place to have some more ~ that would be so fun!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  8. Dear Dallas,

They both bring such joy and do brighten up my days! 🙂

The sunflowers add such a nice touch to the garden area ~ we just pulled up all our tomato plants today and there is not much blooming in the yard these days.

    Blessings to you too!

  9. Dear Cathy,

Blessings to you today! It is so fun to have tall flowers growing in the garden. I only wish we had planted some more of them! Maybe next year!!
