Family time

~♥♥♥♥~

Benjamin ready for a little “hay ride” in the wagon!

Our family got together for a little harvest time fun yesterday!  My husband thought it would be nice to have a potluck dinner and a time when all of our family could be together during this fall season.  Now I’m thinking we should plan special times like this to celebrate each season!

We enjoyed dinner, being together, and a few games!  One of the games was a gourd decorating contest between teams!  We had two teams and with only ten minutes with which to work, this was the result of their creativity!

I hope you are enjoying a restful Sunday ~ and that the upcoming week will be a blessed one for you!

Joy to you!

  1. Well, that little Benjamin is sure a cutie!
Reminds me so much of my boys when they
were little tow heads like that. It sounds
like you and your family had a wonderful
and special time together. We all need to
slow down and spend more quality time with
our loved ones. The gourds are so cute!
Can’t decide which I like best. I like both!
    Blessings,
    Sandy

  2. Sunday blessings, Sandy!

Little ones are just so sweet and cute ~ and how quickly they grow up as you know!

It was a very special family time. I couldn’t make a decision on the gourds either ~ and I was supposed to be the judge! He!He! I just decided to make everyone a winner!

    Have a lovely week!

  8. Blessings to you Sharon, I’ve missed visiting and can’t believe Benjamen has grown so quickly. This time of year allows me to sit back and visit my friends in blogland.
