Summer sewing

One day last week after receiving the gift of the pretty fabric, it was the inspiration I needed to get started on the pinwheel potholders.  It really didn’t seem like sewing weather as it was just too sunny and nice to be inside, but a new perfect spot was found on the patio table.  It was wonderful!  I wonder why I never thought of this before!

Yay for summer sewing!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and say hello!  Summer blessings♥

  1. Hi there, What a great idea! I’m cutting fabric for a baby quilt but it has been too hot to sew yet. Love your fabric combos. Blessings to you today.

  2. I love doing crafts on the porch! Lately with these temperatures in the 90’s I’ve been taking my crock pot out on the back deck and plugging it in out there. I can have all of dinner prepared when I take out both crocks and keep the inside of the house cooler by not turning on the stove or even the crocks.
I’m waiting for my favorite season to arrive…autumn! I am not a lady who likes hot weather.
    Blessings!
