Early spring cheeriness

Happy March!

It is so lovely that it is March!  Spring is almost here and there are signs everywhere.  We have enjoyed some wonderful sunshiny days and it has been so nice!  On Sunday afternoon we played bocce ball and croquet and we were even able to enjoy our first fire in our firepit and roast hot dogs for dinner ~ Amazing!  Truly a gift!

And have you heard the birds singing?  What a sweet and welcome sound!

The daffodils are blooming!  A bit of spring cheer for sure!

I got some “farm girl boots” and I have to say they add a bit of cheer to the outside work! 🙂  I have so enjoyed getting a bit of a head start on some garden chores.

There are so many things to be thankful for!

Blessings!

  1. Here in Australia we have entered autumn, but as I live in the sub-tropics, autumn is the start of my gardening season as it is too hot to do much gardening in Summer. Your boots are so pretty.

  2. Hi Sharon … I think you are a bit ahead of us on your spring time. No flowers here yet. We are enjoying lots of sunshine and warm days though. Love, love, love those farm girl boots. Sweetest Blessings ♥ Teri

  3. Wahay for Spring, Sharon! Doesn’t the earth smell good when you first start a few gardening jobs? Especially with the sun warming it. I bet the youngsters really LOVED having the fire and supper outside ~ how fun for them was that? : )
    Cute boots, too.
Your pleasure is really infectious, my friend.
    Hugs!

  4. I am surprised that you don’t have any flowers yet with the lovely days you’ve enjoyed. Soon, I’m sure you will have some too! I am so loving my “farm girl boots”! 🙂
    Blessings!

  5. Oh, I so love the spring, Alex! Everything feels so good when you can be outdoors in the sunshine. Even weeding is a joy! These boots make gardening fun too…they make me happy! 🙂
    Blessings to you!
