  1. Hello~

I just stumbled across your website and find it refreshing and encouraging to find out there are folks out there who still endeavor to live a simple life of love and joy and giving glory to God.

I noticed you had snow this weekend too and wondered if you might be in my neck of the woods. I’m in WA state, almost to the Canadian border.

Thanks for the encouragement of your blog!

    Stephanie

  2. Hi Stephanie,

Glad to have you visit and thank you for your encouraging words!!
Yes, I am in Washington state ~ I was born in Bellingham and now live a little farther south!
    Come back anytime!

    Blessings,

    Sharon

  3. Sharon~

Wow! I was googling a place in CA called the Shepherd’s House Inc. and found your blog. I love your comments for today. I lived in Bellingham for 12 years and have spent the past 3 years on a farm just east of Lynden. I was born and raised in Olympia.
I’m reading a book called Living From the Heart Jesus Gave You and it’s truly amazing and inspiring. If you get a chance to check it out, I think you would be blessed by it.

    Thanks for responding!

    Stephanie

  4. Hi Stephanie,

Lynden is one of my very favorite places!! How awesome that you live on a farm near there!
Thanks for mentioning the book title ~ I will have to check it out!
    Blessings,

    Sharon

  5. Hello Sharon~
I “stumbled” upon your blog today after googling ‘glass cement’ and found your tutorial on making the beautiful little candy dish in 2009.

Since I am a child of the King also, I hardly believe in coincidence. I am delighted to find your wonderful, encouraging blog! What a Blessing.
I also am a lover of the writings of Elisabeth Elliot and Edith Schaeffer, so after noticing your E. Elliot quote and the list of E. Schaeffer books, I knew I had found a kindred spirit here.
Thank you for letting me browse around. I will return, I’ve bookmarked your blog and will visit often~

    In His all sufficient Grace,
    warmly~
    Carolyne

btw~Noticing the other commenters here…..I must tell you I’m a NW girl too! (Native north Oregonian now Southern Oregon)

  6. Hello Carolyne ~ It is a blessing to have a visit from you! I love meeting kindred spirits♥ ~ and others from the NW too! Southern Oregon is beautiful!

I do look forward to having you stop by again!

    Blessings in Christ,
    Sharon
